Acceptable Use Policy
A short list of what this is for and what it is not for. Most of it comes down to two things: no people in the photographs, and no decisions that matter more than a sock.

- What this policy covers
This policy applies to everyone who uses Cuffkeep. It forms part of the Terms of Service, and breaking it is a breach of those terms.
- What you may upload
Photographs of composition labels, and photographs of sock cuffs. That is the full list of what the service is built to read.
You must not upload photographs of socks being worn, photographs of people, or photographs of any body part. The service declines them.
You must not upload anything you do not have the right to upload, anything unlawful, anything sexual, anything depicting a child, or anything intended to identify or harass a person.
- Prohibited high-risk uses
Readings are estimates about a garment. They must not be used, and must not be presented to anyone else as suitable for use, in:
- medical or clinical decisions of any kind;
- legal advice or the conduct of legal proceedings;
- financial advice, lending or insurance decisions;
- safety-critical systems or safety certification;
- employment, recruitment or performance decisions;
- credit scoring;
- housing or tenancy decisions;
- judicial or law-enforcement decisions.
- Prohibited conduct
Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the service or to anyone else’s account.
Do not access the service other than through the interfaces we provide, and do not extract readings in bulk by automated means in order to assemble a competing dataset.
Do not resell, sublicense or present readings as your own service, and do not represent a reading as a laboratory test or a physical measurement.
Do not use the service to promote or sell any product, or to generate material that implies this service endorses a product. It endorses none.
- Sanctions and export restrictions
You may not use the service in, or for the benefit of, any country, organisation, entity or person subject to sanctions or trade restrictions applicable to us. You confirm you are not such a person and are not acting on behalf of one.
- Age
The service is for people aged 18 or over. Accounts are not knowingly opened for anyone younger, and an account we learn belongs to someone under 18 is closed and its data deleted.
- If this policy is broken
Depending on what has happened we may remove the material, suspend the account, or close it. Where we can, we tell you first and give you a chance to put it right; where the breach is serious or unlawful we may act immediately.
If an account is closed for a breach, any statutory refund due to you is still due to you. Closing an account is not a way of keeping money.
- Reporting something
If you have seen something that breaks this policy, write to support@ismallk.com. Reports are looked at within one working day.
This policy sits alongside the Terms of Service, the AI Notice and the Privacy Policy. Where one of those says something more specific, the more specific wording applies.
